Ray, from Raydiance and Jeff from Jeremiah setting an additional anchor. |
Today we awoke to 29 degrees outside and about 48 degrees inside, we even had frost on the deck and found out it was very slippery. Mind you wake up time was at 5:15 and as I looked out to check on fog (and it was there) I saw a fishing boat already launched and ready to start fishing. Some people reallylike to fish !!
The First boat to leave. |
Very cold morning. |
By the time we all got our anchors pulled, I think there were five all together, we left for the next lock at about 6:20 and the fog was lifting nicely. We could not wash off the anchor because the hose was frozen. Again no problem with the lock and we were through at about 6:30 and on our way to Demopolis Al where we will spend the night at the last true marina for a few days.
The run to Demopolis went well with some nice scenery. Lots of fall colors and twists and turns to the waterway.

We did enjoy a special happy hour before turning in for an early bedtime. Today is Chris from our buddy boat, Southern Belle's birthday and we did need to celebrate it. What better way?
Hope all is well with friends and family, we will write again soon.

I like the cold morning shots, it looks like a real scenic area.
